The Lazure workshop
It was a meeting of a handful of people all with a goal to better understand the lazure painting technique. We were delighted to participate in this weekend, organized by the artist John Stolfo in Chicago. This experience was wonderfully enriching.

Order and Disorder

Observable in the vegetal, mineral and animal worlds is a mathematical order. But there exists, too, an element of disorder. The duality between these two complementary aspects makes the world possible, dynamic, evolving, and living.

Living Art

With the Lazure Painting Technique initiated by Rudolf Steiner, we present these dual/complimentary characteristics. The color applied on surfaces is at first driven by our inspiration. Sometimes, however, it is diverted from our initial intentions: our controlled gestures becoming involuntary.

Smell and Touch

We have used a number of mediums on numerous surfaces. The disagreeable properties of irritating products we subjected our noses and hands to ruined the full pleasures of the painting process. It is for this reason we prefer to use natural products, pleasing to smell and to touch. Pleasing for us and for you.

Its Our Nature to Create

L`ordre et l`échec

Il est possible d`observer dans le monde: végétal, minéral et animal un ordre mathématique et de constater que celui-ci est parfois rompu par un échec. La dualité entre ces deux aspects complémentaires rend le monde possible, dynamique, évolutif et vivant.

L`art du vivant

La technique de la lazure initié par Rudolf Steiner dont nous nous servons présente les mêmes aspects complémentaires.La couleur appliquée sur le support est dirigée suivant notre inspiration.Cependant, celle-ci est parfois détournée de notre intention initiale, le geste est contrôlé puis devient involontaire.

Sentir et toucher

Nous avons utilisé de nombreux médiums sur de nombreux type de support en cours de nos recherches.Mais parfois la désagréable sensation d`avoir le nez et les mains irrités entrave notre plaisir de peindre.C`est pourquoi nous préférons utiliser des produits naturels, agréable à sentir et à toucher.Agréable pour nous et agréable pour vous.

De nature à réaliser des projets

Nous sommes deux artistes animés par la volonté de réaliser des projets d`expressions artistique en harmonie avec notre environnement.
