Grain elevator in Russiaville on Chandler Street.
The Russiaville Historical Society should have this for their center when its completely restored (the old Interurban Train Station on State Road 26, on the tracks.)

Haynes Automobile Co. factory on South Union Street, Kokomo. Built in 1911.
These buildings are etched in my soul. Growing up on this street, these dilapidated factories constitute my earliest memories. Daniel spent an afternoon, sitting on a cold rail-road track, sketching in the sunlight. Did he somehow know that the subjects he chose to paint occupy a space in my consciousness as archetypes?

Farm near intersection of Dixon and State Road 26. He sketched this while I read in the sunlight a couple of summers past, Merlin and Rubie amusing themselves in the high grasses.
