Brussels Sprouts


Daniel and I had a treat for dinner: The Brussels Sprouts we planted last summer! We used a knife to cut them off the stalk, boiled them for ten minutes, then sauted them in some butter. They were the best I've ever had. No tough fibrous chewy bites Tender and mild.

I am sad to say that I have never had brussels sprouts. The way you describe them makes me want to try some right now! Though, I doubt the super market variety could hold a candle to your home grown beauties.
