I just finished hand stitching this patchwork hexagon throw pillow. It includes owl fabric sent to me by my great friend Whitney when she was living in Japan. I love throwing all the hexagons onto the floor and then organizing them into a pleasing design. Hand-piecing them was done in the evenings, an hour or two here and there. This took a while! The back of the cushion is a blue organic cotton fabric I ordered from England, the same I used in constructing this apron.
